Randy Mabe
|

Randy L. Mabe was born in Nashville, Tennessee in January, 1951. He is married to the former Sharon M. Rebmann, of Scio, Oregon. They have two children, Lewis and Jennifer, and two grandchildren. Randy received his formal training through Alabama Christian School of Religion (now Southern Christian University) and the Madisonville College of the Bible. Since 1979 Randy has been the pulpit preacher for congregations in Tennessee, Kentucky and Nevada. He has been used in Gospel meetings and lectureships in England, Ireland, Idaho, Montana, California, New Mexico, Texas, Oregon, Utah, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee. Randy taught in the College of the Bible, Madisonville, Kentucky, under Joseph Meador, Academic Director. Since 1993 he has served as pulpit minister and Academic Director of Southwestern School of Religion, Las Vegas, Nevada. This school has provided a full curriculum in Biblical and related studies, including Logic and Introductory Greek, since 1991 He is currently an instructor with the Online Academy of Biblical Studies. He has taught courses in Hermeneutics and Church History for OABS since 2002. |

Lewis Carlton Wells was born April 30, 1944 in Tyler, Texas. Born at that time what was a small country town to husband and wife of John Madison Wells and Roberta Maria Wells, they soon moved to Fort Worth, Texas and he was enrolled in Como Junior High School. On October 14, 1955 he was baptized for the remissions of his sins under the ministering of Brother Charlie Polk at the Lake Como church Of Christ. It was in the month of July, 1956 that he attempted to preach what was to be his first sermon, titled: "What Is It In Hell That You Want?". Needless to say Brother McKnight, one of the elders, had to explain to his mother, Roberta. He graduated from Como High School in 1962 and attended Jarvis Christian College for one year but decided that the U.S. Army needed his services more. In July, 1964 he entered the U.S. Army and attended parachute jump school at Fort Bennings, Georgia. Later upon graduating, he joined the 82nd Airborn Division. They served two terms in combat in the mind 1960s. he became a member at the Oakey Blvd. church of Christ in December of 1995 and began preaching in 2000. |
